Can You Write To Spirit?
As you know psychics use whatever suits them best to channel spirit, cards, mirrors and even the old crystal ball. There is one more method that is really easy to use and that is automatic writing. Something that first became popular during the rise of spiritualism in the Victorian era. Mediums have written long explanations or even novels using this technique.
It started with pen and paper but now we can even use Microsoft Word to produce automatic writing! This form of contact is really good if you are maybe too nervous to contact spirit any other way, if you want some spiritual questions answered or if you find meditative contact a struggle.
Before you start it is really helpful if you are used to writing streams of consciousness, a journal or diary. It’s about already writing about you and your emotions, so you have no issues with words and know what could be your feelings and the answers from spirit.
It’s pretty easy to start with pen and paper – find somewhere quiet and reserve time when you will not be disturbed. Get comfortable around your desk or table and pick up your pen, rest it on the paper. Take some time to clear your mind and let the distractions fade away.
Do not consciously write anything, and then let the pen move across the paper, it’s a really good idea to look away from the paper, even close your eyes. Let your hand run free across the paper and for as long as you feel it is moving freely.
Once you come to a stop take a look at the paper, you may have words or you may just have scribble – a little or a lot. Try to decipher what you have, look for words, letters, numbers and symbols. Look for the answer to your question or names and messages.
With your PC simply open a blank document , type your question or ask who you are talking to, focus your eyes away from your screen and simply type, do not try to translate what your fingers are typing just let them go.
Like all spiritual activities it takes time and you may not get anything coherent for the first few attempts.
