Earth
There are four elements in the horoscope, earth, air, fire and water; they refer to the four vital energies that make up the world we humans perceive every day. The four elements in a birth chart reveal how we will react and our abilities to tune in to specific fields of life experience. They encompass three signs per element and are the overarching qualities of those signs.
Earth signs are Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn, earth signs are the most natural, organic signs, they blend into their habitat most of the time. They are sensual, as they use all five senses to interact with the world, so they often work more slowly than other elements as they really want to experience life in every way. Earth signs love fine wines, food, comfort in their lives and need to belong somewhere (preferably with someone too)They are the most stable of the elements, the most practical, patient and persistent people you will meet.
They are very grounded and want to deal with what is real and can be held, it makes them very productive, able to create results. But if there are no balancing elements, earth’ signs turn into work-aholics, hoarders and just plain stubborn. They are not good with surprises and spontaneity as they love routine and need to know what is happening well in advance. Earth signs always feel a sense of responsibility and will be reliable, but this is linked to caution and conservatism up to and including being fearful of change and a great worrier if things get a bit risky.
Although not the most sensitive element Earth signs want to help and serve others, but as they don't love the limelight or recognition, they will be unhappy if their work is acknowledged on a wide scale. These are the people you can count on to be there when you need them.
They are faithful lovers who once in a committed relationship will be the most sexual and sensual of signs, full of passion but beware of their possessive nature that can turn quickly to the green eyed monster of jealousy.
