Healing Yourself

Healing is a blessing that we are all able to give to ourselves. It helps us to feel fulfilled and happy, and I believe that it is also part of our life’s purpose. Some of us tend to focus on everyday tasks and never take time to focus on our spirituality and our soul. Most of the times we do not think about focusing on who we are, our true values, purpose, goals, and vision, until we are presented with a final demand from our body. Focusing on things that we love with our heart, rather than only valuing material things and immersing ourselves in negativity, can bring us closer to the healing process.
Our body is speaking to us all the time, so it is important to tune in to our feelings and emotions to improve our emotional health and prepare ourselves to heal. Soul healing leads to physical healing. Headaches, neck pain, and back pain are often induced by stress. Healing is only achieved when we are able to let go of the negativity that causes us to be anxious, nervous, hurt, resentful, sad, embarrassed, guilty, angry and fearful.
I use meditation as a main method for healing. Meditation can help us to let go of persistent negative memories and restore our emotional balance. In order to tune into your soul, you can visualise a beautiful, bright sun above yourself and allow the light of the sun to flow down and fill your body with light, while you let go the negative thoughts, and all the pain inside your body and soul. When you use meditation for self healing is important to always consider what part of your body needs healing in the moment, and let light flow into it, using positive affirmations as a mantra. Allow your body to feel the light relieving all the tensions in the body and enabling your healing. Meditation can heal your soul and bring you closer to your life’s purpose.
Connect to your spiritual energy and ask for your guarding Angels to assist you to restore your emotional and physical health. Pray for Spiritual Guidance in order to release feelings of anger, hate, resentment, guilt. Use forgiveness as a tool to help you in the healing process. Let go of past resentments by forgiving others for what they’ve done to you in the past for your own benefit. Ask God's forgiveness for your faults, and embrace it.
