Is Now The Right Time
The High Priestess is the guardian of the unconscious. She is associated with the Moon. The moon under her left foot shows her dominion over intuition. The palm indicates fertility of the mind and the cube on which she sits is the earth. The presence of the High Priestess in a reading usually tells me that the person may have been rushing about and overdoing things in the past, and this may have left him/her feeling overwhelmed. It is possible for this card to appear when someone have been doing some things because they don’t want to think of themselves as a person who can’t achieve what others may have. This card warns the person that it is important to balance their achievements with some quiet time. It is important for the querent to get some time aside to reflect about their past mistakes and to listen to her/his intuition. The querent needs to focus on doing the right thing without any rush. The High Priestess tells me about a need for calmness in the querent’s life. She is a card that don’t speak, only listens. The querent may not feel completely in control at this time, and may be allowing another person to make decisions for him/her, or they may not be listening to their intuition to decide what is best for their own life.
