Stay inspired on your spiritual path
I don't know about you, but it can be hard to stay inspired this time of year. It's cold outside. It gets dark really early. The holidays are all but over (for a while anyway). Maybe it's just me, but these seemingly simple factors can get me feeling like I'm stuck in a rut. So I've been trying to dream up ways to keep myself staying inspired and motivated. And it's got me thinking about what it means to live an inspired life.
An uninspired mind is a mind that is drugged in the inertia of heavy thoughts and just plods along the entire life finding ways and means to uninspire others. An uninspired mind belongs to a body with a defeated body language, an uninspired mind has enough reasons everyday to 'stir' negative emotions in people, so an uninspired mind is an unhappy mind. That’s why it is very important to stay inspired. I’ve learned that when one is inspired they inspires others, brings smiles, makes other hearts soar, and makes space for more inspiration. I just came back from a wonderful holiday, and it was so zestful, that helped me to keep in touch in body, mind and spirit, and to stay tuned to the cosmos. So I decided to write about the gift of connecting to the infinite possibility within ourselves and within the universe, as a source of inspiration.
Truthfully, it’s hard to stay inspired; it’s real legitimate work to stay connected to the source of our essence.
That’s why from time to time I think it is vital to ask yourself: What inspires you?
I could make a list of a 100 things that inspire me. It could be something someone said or something I’ve seen. From a soul searching song, to waking up in the morning and hearing the birds chirp. It’s amazing what you can see if you truly open your eyes to every day life. My recent holiday inspired me to write this article. What inspires me to do good in this world is the idea that goodness and happiness is something that can be shared. It is possible to do good on any scale: whether it is simply smiling at someone, or pushing for a cause you personally believe in. Happiness and good deeds are easily spread, so my spirituality inspires me the most. "To inspire someone is to breathe life into them".
Being with my family recently inspired me, and made me full of renewed energy and feeling truly inspired to re-connect with the infinite possibility of existence. I believe that we should follow our source of inspiration and allow it to fuel our journey, as life becomes a lot easier if we try finding new ways to inspire our mind and spirit. So, in order to be inspired today, I leave you with just one question: What makes you happy?
Blessings to you, Claudia x
